Authentic Writing – What Makes You An Authentic Writer?

You actually clicked on to read an article on philosophy? Well if you haven’t already clicked back I know I’ve only got a few seconds left to impress. So I’ll give my quick definition of what philosophy is. Firstly, it isn’t quick. Philosophy is different to every individual. For me, philosophy is examining things taken for granted and viewing things without the shackles of social conformity. Ok, that all sounds well and good, but it doesn’t actually answer you. So I’ll give an example on re-examining a topic taken for granted.

+ Job hunting plan (if seeking an employer) or promotional plan (if seeking freelance clients): If I’m seeking a regular employer, where will I apply, what will I include in my portfolio and resume, and what communication tools will I use to approach prospective employers? If I’ll be pay for essay freelancing who will I promote myself to? What will I emphasize to communicate my expertise? What promotional tools will I use? How much will this cost?

Active voice is an important part of a sentence. Better writing skills reflect the use of active voices in a sentence. Active voice helps a sentence to become shorter and also gives it a stronger expression. Shorter sentences add on to the quality of writing and it is more desirable.

One of the most important tips in a person’s writing skills is that he or she must avoid the use of too many words. He should be careful about the use of too many conjunctions and punctuations and should always keep his writing simple. Simple write for me an essay is more attractive. But the meaning of the writing should not be compromised. Also the writer should keep in mind the kind of audience he has. Excess use of facts and technical terms may make the writing boring and might not appeal to the audience. The receivers of the particular writing may not be well versed with the terms that the writer used and hence may have no interest further in the writing he presents.

Become fascinated by the personal challenge of every putt. Forget about the game or match, let it go and allow the most important thing about your putting to become a game that you play with yourself. A game which you play out of interest to see what happens. The philosophy you want to have with this is that there is no score on the putt. The putt is not worth one shot. It is worth nothing and the only reason you are going to make this putt is to see how good your read of the line and break was and how good you «Just Let it Go» and trusted.

Why are you writing this article, newsletter, blog or book? To provide solutions that help others live happier lives? Enhance your professional credibility? Document your family history? The more compelling your reason, the more it will inspire you to keep charging forward.

Eat well before starting. Never mind at those Roman nonsense satur venter non studet libenter! Nothing’s better for extensive study than a full belly!

Why have you entered into business for yourself? Is it because of the economy and you truly must make some extra income? Is it because you have created or found a product that is viable and is a help to others and you see the need you can fill? Are you looking for more time for the things that count in life like family and friends? These are just a few examples of the Philosophy you will carry with you, actually, you will need to carry these with you to the end. The why philosophy is the motivator, it is the gumption that will keep you going. Write it down where you can see your Philosophy each and every day, this will keep you focused on why you do what you do.

The Slight Edge philosophy teaches us that the little decisions that we make daily really do matter. They have long term consequences. One missed workout will not kill me, but a year of missed workouts will make me out of shape. Just think how fit I could have been if I had worked out every day for that year. Its the same with knowledge. How many of us go an entire year without reading any personal development materials. How much personal progression could we have made in a year if we had been reading just ten pages each day. The difference is mind boggling!

What guides us to different destinations in life is how we have chosen to set the sail. How we choose to set the sail is our philosophy. The way each of us thinks makes the major difference in where each of us arrives. The major difference is not circumstance. It is the set of our sail. It is our philosophy.

Knowledge. In my opinion, our coaching philosophy is a map that takes us where we’d like to go. I believe that if we use it in recruiting, coaching, and general interactions with folks.those types of people will want to play for us. For example, a coach with a philosophy of «win at all costs» will attract a different type of athlete than a coach who says «victory with honor». Not a worse athlete, not a less moral athlete.just a different athlete. So as you come up with your coaching philosophy, think of the kind of athlete you’d like to draw into your program.
